Background:

Rob grew up playing every sport a little kid can sign up for… As result Rob found Football his biggest passion, one he played through High School in Stony Plain, Alberta. And one that offered him the chance to try out for Team North (Edmonton/area High School All-Stars who do battle against rival Team South, Calgary/area) from that try-out came an email from Alberta Bobsleigh Association inviting all athletes (roughly 2,000) to attend an I.D. Camp coming up. Rob attended the camp and was invited to a National Camp later that year. Upon arriving at the camp Rob found out that his 5 foot 11, 160 lbs, stature was 5 inches and 50 pounds to small and promptly switched into the realm of Skeleton.
